Job Description

The Senior Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Superintendent in managing day-to-day field activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Superintendent in planning, organizing, and evaluating work sequences to meet project milestone dates and overall schedule completion date.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the work of vendors and laborers.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including management, vendors, customers, and architects/engineers.
  • Manage and distribute project lookahead schedules.
  • Verify all work is installed in a workmanlike manner.
  • Review and coordinate submittals/shop drawings for constructability and against field conditions.
  • Identify and obtain necessary inspections to ensure timely CC or CO.
  • Issue potential RFIs.
  • Manage self-performed activities to ensure work is performed per plans & specifications.
  • Manage changes in project scope to ensure contemporary contract documents are used.
  • Manage punch lists and project closeout processes to assure timely completion.
  • Participate in OAC meetings.
  • Generate and maintain daily field reports.
  • Manage and maintain project safety and cleanliness.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of related General Contracting experience in the Government/Commercial sector.
  • Experience with Federal or Army Corps USACE projects preferred.
  • Able to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
  • Current safety credentials include OSHA 30, 1st Aid, and CPR.
  • Proficient with MS Office and current project management software.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
