Job Summary:

Nesco Resource is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing product inspections utilizing magnified visual aids and mechanical measuring devices to ensure product conformance to internal and customer technical data package requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical data packages, including assembly instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, specifications, etc.
  • Perform product inspections using magnified visual aids and mechanical measuring devices.
  • Ensure product conformance to internal and customer technical data package requirements.
  • Previous experience in assembling RF assemblies is desired.

Requirements:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in various commodities, including machined, casted, and molded components, PCB and electronic assemblies, optical components and assemblies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Mil-Std-883 /Mil-Prf-19500 requirements.
  • Proficient in math to determine conformance to specifications and prints.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Ability to multi-task and proficient with time management.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software.
  • Working knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
