Certified Athletic Trainer

Baltimore City Public Schools is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff. As part of this commitment, we are seeking a qualified Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual who can provide medical care and support to student-athletes during practices and contests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care and support to student-athletes during practices and contests
- Evaluate injuries and establish treatment protocols in collaboration with the supervising physician
- Administer health care treatments and document all reported injuries
- Maintain knowledge of current best practices in athletic training
- Supervise the athletic training room and ensure equipment is properly stocked
- Attend meetings with the Athletic Department, Coaches, School Administration, and District Leadership
Requirements:
- Master's degree in athletic training or a related field (preferred)
- National Athletic Trainers Association-Board of Certification (NATA-BOC) Certification
- Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians or eligible to obtain/transfer license
- Valid and Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification

The salary range for this position is $78,848-$118,333 per year.
