Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality treatment to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist OTs in identifying patients who require rehabilitation and referring them to our services.
  • Document patient progress and participation in a timely and accurate manner, obtaining the co-signature of the OTR.
  • Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications, and discharges.
  • Contribute to other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited college with a BA or associate degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
  • Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated COTA (if state mandated).
  • COTA holds a current license and/or registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in-state as applicable.
