Job Summary

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Concept Rehab, you will treat patients for difficulties with mobility, cognition, function, strength, positioning, and activities of daily living under the supervision of the Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Treat patients according to the treatment plan of care developed by and under the supervision of the Licensed Occupational Therapist.
  2. Communicate with Occupational Therapist, the patient and/or family and facility staff any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems, and plans.
  3. Participate in patient Plan of Care Meetings and Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
  4. Participate in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
  5. Record treatment notes, progress notes, provide objective input for discharge summaries, and complete daily billing of services per policy and procedure.
  6. Instruct patient's families and/or nursing staff in maintenance programs under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
  7. Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
Requirements
  • Licensed in the state(s) where services are being provided as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
