Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Porter to join our team at the LeFrak Organization in Queens, NY. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our building, as well as performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the hallways, lobbies, elevators, and exterior of the building are clean and well-maintained
  • Troubleshoot and resolve compactor deficiencies
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and respond to their inquiries and concerns
  • Document and report any issues or maintenance requests
  • Perform various maintenance tasks, including cleaning apartments and general building maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Porter in a residential, commercial, or professional services environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of carpentry and construction tools
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
