Transportation Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Porter to join our team at Master's Transportation who can manage multiple tasks and priorities and is a self-motivated individual who can actively engage.

In this role, you will move and park transport vehicles. As a Porter, your duties include keeping track of parked vehicles and making sure that the parking lot is neat and presentable. To ensure success as a porter, you should exhibit safe driving skills and excellent customer service.

• Safely Operating Transport Vehicles: Ensure the safe operation of transport vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Organizing the Lot Daily: Maintain a clean and organized parking lot, ensuring that vehicles are parked in a neat and presentable manner.
• Performing Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Check-Out/Return on Every Vehicle: Perform a thorough check-out and return process for every vehicle, noting any damage upon return.
• Noting Damage to Units: Accurately record any damage to vehicles upon return.
• Bring Vehicles In When Needed: Bring vehicles into the parking lot when necessary.
• Pick Up Customer Vehicles: Pick up customer vehicles from designated locations.
• Fueling Vehicles and Topping Off Fluids: Fuel vehicles and top off fluids as needed.
• Assisting in Maintaining Vehicle Cleanliness: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CDL License: Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to operate designated vehicles.
• Adherence to Safety Regulations: Comply with all traffic laws and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with team members, drivers, and passengers.
• Attention to Detail: Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to perform routine inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude with a professional demeanor and commitment to providing excellent service.
