Overview of the Role:

The Assistant Manager for Pub Operations is an entry-level management position.

The primary focus is to assist the Assistant Manager and Head Manager in overseeing all pub operations under their direction.

This role is expected to perform the duties of other non-management positions, execute opening and closing procedures, serve as the host, and ensure the efficient functioning of the pub.

Additional responsibilities include working both indoors and outdoors seasonally, prioritizing exceptional customer service, assigning sections to servers, taking orders, processing payments, supervising service areas, managing staff, and effectively resolving customer service challenges.

The Assistant Manager role may require both physical and mental agility in a fast-paced setting, necessitating the ability to multitask effectively.

Furthermore, being available to address issues during shifts and covering for the Head Manager's absence are critical components of this position.

All employees are expected to maintain a safe working environment and stay informed about company events and offerings.


Job Requirements:
  • Possess and renew current food handler and OLCC/WA liquor licenses
  • Relevant prior experience is essential
  • Proficient in cash handling and numerical skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
