Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a strategic roadmap for security initiatives and enhancements tailored to customer needs.
  • Implement a proactive security program that identifies vulnerabilities and proposes effective countermeasures for SaaS offerings.
  • Develop and uphold comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures for hosted and SaaS environments.
  • Collaborate closely with product management to address customer-specific requirements and secure necessary third-party security certifications.
  • Establish standard cybersecurity contract terms for our SaaS and software offerings.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests for proposals as required.
  • Act as the liaison for corporate security policies.
  • Oversee and regularly evaluate our incident response and vulnerability management strategies.
  • Enhance controls for external audit processes.
  • Advocate for the latest cybersecurity trends and internal policies to both teams and leadership.
  • Maintain a roadmap of strategic initiatives and customer-related security enhancements.
  • Participate as the product lead in vendor security assessments and annual audits.
  • Ensure proper data destruction practices are logged and maintained.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements, engage in community discussions, and mentor fellow engineering team members.
  • Foster an environment of innovation, teamwork, and diversity.
  • Engage with customers to clarify our security architecture and practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a cybersecurity role.
  • Experience in defining least-privilege access controls.
  • Familiarity with various single-sign-on technologies.
  • Proven track record in maintaining secure hosted systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex designs for potential risks.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS security frameworks such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience facilitating third-party audits like SOC-II.
  • Background in product management within a technology setting.
  • Expertise in developing security protocols for telecommunications networks.
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP).
  • Experience with FedRAMP and cybersecurity frameworks like FERC, NERC, or NIST.
  • Ability to prioritize and address security vulnerabilities.
