Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in a school-based setting. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students with speech and language concerns.
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders and support students' educational goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals within the school environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Completion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State licensure or certification as an SLPA, or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not mandatory.
