Job Summary:

As a valued member of our South County Hospital Healthcare Team, we seek a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to assist in the provision of basic nursing care to patients. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, you will maintain a safe and clean environment while performing various duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Perform receptionist and secretarial duties, including computer entry and transcription of physician's orders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the Meditech or equivalent computer system.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current RI Nursing Assistant License.
  • Current valid BLS from American Heart Association required.
  • Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
