Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Civil Engineer to join our Site/Civil Division in our Upstate New York office locations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers on a diverse array of projects, including project plans and design drawings, grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater design, quantities, specifications, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers on a diverse array of projects
  • Contribute expertise to project plans and design drawings, grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater design, quantities, specifications, and contract documents
  • Participate in fieldwork travel
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Engineering Intern (E.I.) Certification preferred
  • 0-5 years' experience in progressive civil infrastructure design experience preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Hydraulic Design, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team, develop and maintain client relations, meet project demands and schedules
