Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer to lead the development team on a classified government program in the DMV. The role is hybrid, requiring a strong technical background and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software architectures, requirements, and designs for complex systems.
  • Lead the development of code and integration of software components into a fully functional system.
  • Design and implement software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments to ensure software system requirements are met.
  • Provide technical leadership for software projects and manage software supplier relationships.
  • Develop and deploy processes, tools, and metrics to improve software development efficiency.
  • Conduct research and development projects to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Advanced technical education in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, and 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis through formal qualification.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with team collaboration tools, including Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain.
