Medical Office Assistant

This role is a key member of our medical office team, providing administrative and clinical support to our healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for physician examinations and maintain accurate records
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing medical records
- Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and conducting lab tests
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a team-oriented environment
- Stay up-to-date on medical knowledge and procedures, and maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification or experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical software
- Reliable transportation and ability to float to other offices as needed
