Sales Team Director

Talis Group's client is the leading independently owned home-building company in the Louisville Metro area. Dedicated to crafting exceptional homes, they are looking for a seasoned sales professional to lead sales and marketing strategies and create a culture of collaboration and trust. This role calls for an experienced and results-driven individual to oversee all aspects of the sales department, set strategic goals, and ensure the team's success.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, preferably within the home building or related industry. Office located in Clarksville, IN. Salary: $175,000 + bonus program. Complete benefits package included. M-F work week. The ideal candidate will be able to drive sales growth, develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and prepare sales reports and forecasts as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Mentor, manage, and motivate sales team members to achieve their full potential
- Identify and act on new growth opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to optimize lead generation and conversion
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions with the sales team to ensure alignment and best practices
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive repeat business and referrals
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a proven successful track record in a sales management role in the home building or related industry, with experience building and leading successful sales teams. A strategic thinker with a results-driven approach, the successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field. Knowledge of CRM software and sales management tools is essential.
