Job Summary

The Lead Restaurant Steward is a key member of the Legends International team, responsible for overseeing the stewarding staff and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the cleaning and storage of all wares in the restaurant, including major equipment
  • Execute stewarding and dish duties
  • Inspect kitchens, workrooms, and equipment for cleanliness and general order
  • Direct the efficient and effective cleaning of all areas, inclusive of walls and floors
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding food and beverage operations
  • Knowledge of chemical usage, operating a dishwasher, and proper usage of a trash compactor
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations in an interruptive environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen area
  • Ability to work long flexible hours
  • Ability to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
