Job Summary

We are seeking a Guest Advocate to join our team. As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. You will be empowered to make decisions and take ownership of guest interactions, making every guest feel valued and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Engage with guests in a genuine way, asking questions to better understand their needs and providing personalized recommendations.
  • Be knowledgeable about our products and services, including our digital offerings, and be able to communicate their benefits to guests.
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining high levels of service and accuracy.
  • Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
  • Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, neatly, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
  • Attempt every return and follow register prompts, empowered to make it right for the guest while following Target's policies and procedures.
  • Deliver easy and seamless service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area, including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers.
  • Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • A welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Attention to detail while multi-tasking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various climates and to lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and regular attendance necessary.
