Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Training Coordinator to join our team at Center for Primary Care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with EMR training and ongoing medical office competency education and verification for administrative and medical assistant clinical staff in a professional office environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with administration, operations, physicians, and directors to develop procedures, materials, and implement training to ensure competency as well as clinical and administrative excellence at our organization.

This role requires strong leadership, supervisory, or training experience, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs, providing ongoing support and shadowing for new personnel.
  • Assist with EHR navigation, clinical skills, and workflow training for existing staff.
  • Organize and prepare training materials and supplies.
  • Provide training and oversee scheduling of float pool employees.
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of training support materials.
  • Offer classroom, virtual, and one-on-one support for staff and providers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in administrative and clinical processes, EHR systems, and workflows.
  • Assist with testing and troubleshooting EHR applications and processes.
  • Evaluate and track staff competencies for new hires and existing staff.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to identify learning needs impacting operational effectiveness.
  • Assist with documentation and maintenance of procedures and processes.
  • Evaluate trainees, training courses, objectives, and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
  • Certified Medical Assistant or LPN required; BLS Instructor Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a medical office environment, preferably in a leadership, supervisory, or training role.
  • Experience with EHRs and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
