Medgene Labs, a leading immunological services provider, is seeking a part-time student to join our team as an Associate Technician. This role will provide daily operational support to our R&D and Production staff, ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of laboratories and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of reagents and non-complex assays following standard protocols.
- Ensure reliable and accurate support in the upkeep and maintenance of laboratories and equipment.
- Work closely with full-time staff to solve routine problems and complete associated tasks.
- Perform basic and existing procedures as defined and supervised by the Department Manager.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and scientific protocols.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of safe laboratory procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate information clearly and concisely.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers.
May be required to lift items up to 50 lbs. Potential for exposure to hazardous materials, high voltage equipment, toxic fumes, high-pressure steam, and extreme temperatures.
