Electro Mechanical Assembler

Ensign-Bickford Industries (EBI) is seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Moorpark, CA.
Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with a team to complete assigned tasks and meet production goals.
- Understand and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality management systems.
- Follow written instructions, work instructions, travelers, and procedures to produce high-quality hardware.
- Understand and adhere to environmental health and safety guidelines, including safety policies and posted signs.
- Accurately fill out production records, travelers, and logs as work is completed.
- Log and record material traceability information on travelers.
- Stamp and date operations complete on travelers when work is finished and meets documented quality requirements.
- Develop a positive attitude and strive to improve and learn new skills daily.
- Work with multiple components to assemble complex sub-assemblies and/or finished products using various hand and automatic shop tools.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with small, detailed assemblies and the ability to work using a microscope.
- Ability to use hand tools and read measuring tools.
- Ability to perform mechanical/electrical testing on products.
- Certified soldering skills per J-STD/NASA a plus.
- Previous experience working in a Class 100,000 and Class 10,000 cleanroom a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Appropriate safety equipment as required by area. Some test and manufacturing areas may require hearing protection due to noise exposure.
The physical activities of this position include work lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, repetitive motions, stooping, balancing, pushing, pulling, coordinating, talking, and hearing.
