Job Title: Production Assembler

This opportunity is located within our Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company business, a global leader of mission-critical hardware and systems solutions including precision energetics systems and innovative explosive solutions.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join our team in Moorpark, CA. This is a full-time position that requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and manufacture precision components using manual and mechanized equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality requirements, including the handling of pyrotechnic materials.
  • Process specifications using hand tools, machinery, air presses, jigs, and other equipment and tooling.
  • Follow work instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform other operations as required, including loading and unloading components into tooling and powders into cups to press.

    Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing-related experience with the ability to use and read accurately various measuring instruments.
  • Ability to perform fine mechanical assembly, including resistance welding, light machining, and electrical testing.
  • Certified soldering skills per J-STD/NASA a plus.
  • Defense and Aerospace Industry experience, including working knowledge of company product lines, a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.

    Work Environment:

    The physical activities of this position include work lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, repetitive motions, stooping, balancing, pushing, pulling, coordinating, talking, and hearing.     Compensation:

    Hourly Range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
