Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations and performance of warehouse personnel.
  • Assign tasks and objectives while assessing staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations.
  • Manage shift allocations effectively to optimize warehouse staff efficiency.
  • Organize and implement necessary training programs for employees.
  • Guarantee the safe operation and maintenance of all warehouse tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other managers within the functional team and assist new team members.
  • Drive initiatives that yield measurable business outcomes.
  • Anticipate additional analytical needs by thinking critically beyond assigned tasks.
  • Provide accurate and prompt responses to inquiries related to your area of expertise.
  • Establish yourself as a credible expert in your field.
  • Prepare and facilitate internal meetings supported by relevant analytics and data.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in management, administration, supply chain, customer service, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in product distribution.
  • Familiarity with safety and legal documentation processes related to warehouse operations (e.g., MSDS, Equipment checklist, BOL).
  • Proficient understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills.
  • Strong team-building, motivational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective time management and crisis resolution skills.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver products weighing over 150 pounds either unassisted or with team support.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English for safety and operational purposes.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
