Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the delivery of radiation therapy to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Management: Treat patients using record and verify systems, and demonstrate knowledge of dosimetry calculations and radiation treatment parameters.
  • Treatment Delivery: Safely operate linear accelerators and apply and treat with the SDX machine, as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in department QA tasks and ongoing radiation safety measurements.
  • Compliance and Safety: Report safety-related incidents, attend safety training programs, and perform work in a safe manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an ARRT certified program and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification and Licensure: Registered by Arizona State ADHS or Arizona Radiation Therapist License, and maintain CE credits to retain certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist, with preference given to those with experience in record and verify systems and linear accelerator operation.
