Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining and organizing the pharmacy inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient storage and handling of medications.
- Fulfill and package prescriptions accurately, adhering to all relevant pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Prepare intravenous admixture solutions, collaborating with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy.
- Process medication orders and maintain patient profiles in our computer system, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any medication-related questions or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Adhere to all relevant pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient and effective operation of the pharmacy, contributing to the overall success of our team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Active registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and computer systems
