Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Washington DC. As a key member of our Clean Rivers Program, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative solutions for complex water infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding projects from initial concept to construction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results that meet the needs of our clients and the community.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop technical drawings and specifications for complex water infrastructure projects, including hydraulic and hydrologic calculations.
  • Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for water quality improvement and stormwater management.
  • Conduct field investigations and infrastructure condition assessments to inform design decisions.
  • Coordinate with subconsultants, permitting authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project compliance and success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on design and consulting.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and hydrologic principles, as well as water treatment and distribution systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
