Job Title: Poolside Bistro Sous Chef

Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Poolside Bistro. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily menus, ensuring high-quality dishes and presentation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and menu promotions
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
