Position Overview
AECOM is in search of a highly skilled and driven Lead Transportation Engineering Project Manager with expertise in highway and roadway design.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical resource and advisor for the project team.
- Provide specialized technical insights to studies and designs within your area of expertise.
- Develop procedures for studies and designs to ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
- Engage in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
- Create construction cost estimates and technical effort assessments for projects.
- Utilize expertise throughout all phases of the PS&E package completion.
- Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
- Prepare sections of technical specifications.
- Contribute to the engineering budget and schedule development to meet project requirements.
- Initiate and develop project designs and plans for transportation and civil engineering projects.
- Execute detailed designs, including comprehensive calculation packages and detailed development.
- Guide the drafting team in producing drawings from initial design stages to final contract plans.
- Recognize the significance of review and quality control, performing thorough reviews of design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to prepare and implement technical approaches for projects.
- Supervise the work of junior designers.

- Meet with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
