Physiotherapist Role in SNF/LTC Setting

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced or newly graduated Physiotherapist/PT to join our team for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent assessment and treatment skills, with the ability to establish and administer a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to individual patient needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing medical conditions, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions, as well as developing realistic and achievable goals for patients. Regular documentation and recording of patient progress is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered goals
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Hold a graduate degree from an accredited school
- Be licensed as a Registered Physiotherapist/PT in the state of North Carolina or be actively pursuing licensure
- Have current CPR certification
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
