About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company's facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders as necessary to maintain optimal facility operations.
  • Manage facility expenses and control the budget for maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure that all mechanical systems, including chillers, air conditioning, and refrigeration, are functioning efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report on daily activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or relevant position (5+ years).
  • Proven experience in repair, electrical controls, machine maintenance, mechanical maintenance, cooling, chillers, equipment, air conditioning, carpentry, piping, food processing, hydraulic, refrigeration, HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and motors.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer, and HVAC systems, with proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
  • Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field (desired).
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) or Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) certification (desired).
