ROLE SUMMARY

The Grace Kids Birth-PreK (BPK) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the BPK Prep Team and assisting in the management of the BPK Grace Kids Ministry. This position ensures that the ministry remains centered on God, deeply rooted in the Bible, focused on the Gospel, and committed to discipleship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Care

  • Oversee and guide the BPK Prep Team to support Sunday programs and the Birth-PreK Grace Kids Ministry.
  • Coordinate scheduling and communication with the Prep team and Grace GEMS Prep Team to ensure smooth execution of curriculum and care for Grace Kids spaces.
  • Provide essential support for Grace Kids Sunday gatherings to facilitate BPK Sunday discipleship.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of new team members in BPK.
  • Foster a strong partnership with parents in the discipleship process of their children.
  • Maintain awareness of safety and security protocols, ensuring adherence to policies that protect children and staff.
  • Engage with new BPK families and collaborate with parents to effectively serve and disciple their children.
  • Offer pastoral care to team members and families.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement to parents and team members in their spiritual journeys.
  • Contribute to the planning of team gatherings, appreciation events, and parent-equipping sessions.
  • Work with the Grace Kids team to develop ongoing training and discipleship programs for team members.

Administrative Duties

  • Assess resource needs for BPK spaces and ministry programs.
  • Complete administrative tasks to support the BPK prep team and maintain organized spaces.
  • Ensure the safety and organization of BPK resources and materials.
  • Support the weekly serving schedule as required.
  • Perform additional support tasks as necessary.

Communication

  • Maintain regular communication with Grace Kids staff and Sunday BPK Prep teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for positive interactions with team members, church staff, and children.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills for effective team management.
  • Dependable and punctual, ensuring readiness for Sunday services.
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to service.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Part-time: 25 hours per week.
  • Regular meetings with the Grace Kids BPK Director and staff.
  • Participation in Sunday programming and weekly staff meetings.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • Reports to: Grace Kids BPK Director.
  • Collaborates closely with Grace Kids staff and Grace Families staff.
