Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for coordinating and performing diagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and medical imaging equipment.

Our team at CHRISTUS Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing quality control tests, and adhering to radiation safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
*Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by physicians
*Performs quality control tests and documents results
*Adheres to radiation safety procedures and protocols
*Maintains accurate records and reports
*Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
*Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required
1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting required

2 years of experience in a clinical Radiology setting is preferred
Current State Licensure required

Current BLS (American Heart Association) required
Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB required

Varies
