Job Summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aeronautical Engineering Manager 3 to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, or cost account manager.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in aeronautical engineering and experience in managing engineers. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership of an engineering team and have a minimum of 1 year of experience using Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Responsibilities
  • Lead the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, or cost account manager.
  • Provide technical leadership of an engineering team.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience using Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Manage engineers and ensure that they are working effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve engineering processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that engineering activities are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 9 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience and managing engineers.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, or cost account manager.
  • 3+ years providing technical leadership of an engineering team.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) or PAR/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by business needs.
