Duties and Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Testing Scientist, you will be responsible for identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results.

You will correct the problems encountered or immediately notify the senior technologist or supervisor.

You will also follow the department's procedure in reporting STATS or Critical results to clients and maintain complete records of all testing performed on-site.

Furthermore, you will participate in all applicable safety training sessions and know the location and contents of the safety manual.

We require a minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in highly complex testing for those with a BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology.

Also, national and state licensure as required. You must always protect patient confidentiality.
