Licensed Speech Therapist
The Licensed Speech Therapist is responsible for designing and implementing speech and language therapy programs for a diverse group of clients at The Ladders. The focus of these services is to enhance communicative abilities and foster independence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' communication capabilities and deliver tailored speech and language interventions in various settings, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and execute treatment objectives aligned with clients' specific needs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and generate detailed progress reports and treatment plans as required.
  • Assess the necessity for augmentative communication tools and provide training and support to families and educators on their effective use.
  • Engage in ongoing treatment discussions, as well as participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in speech-language pathology.
  • Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing computer systems and relevant software applications.
