Welcome to Skyworks Solutions, an innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors. We are seeking a highly motivated IC Design and Verification Engineer to contribute to our Diversity Receive (DRX) designs.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Design and verification of LNA and RF switch using Cadence tool.
  • Generate RF top verification bench using Cadence.
  • Measure performance in the lab using spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator.
  • Experience in lab measurement automation and evaluation board design is useful.


Qualifications:


  • BSEE and 8 years of work experience required, MSEE preferred.
  • Familiar with using Cadence Virtuoso with experience in schematic editing.
  • Must have experience and knowledge of using Spectre, APS, AFS, EMX (and/or HFSS).
  • Familiar with Hierarchy Editor.
  • Knowledge to deal with convergence issues.
  • Knowledge of ADEXL.
  • Knowledge of using Ocean scripts to automate simulations.
  • Experience with Smith chart, load and source pulling, RF matching, transmission lines in both simulation and lab environment.
  • Familiar with Virtuoso layout editor.
  • Knowledge and experience with RF-related layout, especially for High Power Switches and couplers.
  • Familiar with different analysis types, including but not limited to S Parameter, Harmonic Balance, Transient, AC, DC.
  • Familiar with lab equipment, such as Spectrum analyzer, Network analyzer, Signal generator, Oscilloscopes, DC power supply, etc.
  • Familiarity with taking lab measurements, like Gain, Noise Figure, Harmonics, IP3, etc.
  • Ability to sort through data and present data in a concise manner.
  • Ability to use Excel, Power Point, and Word.


The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $112,500-$215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
