Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Fusion Imaging Technologist I to join our team at University Hospital, Newark NJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures and exams that utilize radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Responsibilities- Perform technical procedures and exams that utilize radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and imaging techniques.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine (Bachelors degree or Associates Degree).
- Current New Jersey license in Nuclear Medicine Technology required and either Diagnostic Radiography or Fusion Imaging required.
- Five (5) years of clinical nuclear medicine experience required.
- Current ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology and either Diagnostic Radiography or Computed Tomography (i.e., RT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) required.
- Annual fit testing is required.
- Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR.
- Current NJ license in Nuclear Medicine Technology and either Diagnostic Radiography or Fusion Imaging.
- BLS CPR certification.
- ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology and either Diagnostic Radiography or Computed Tomography (i.e., RT(CT) or NMTCB(CT).
