About the Role

This is a critical position that requires a seasoned leader to drive strategic partnerships and sustainment operations for Lockheed Martin. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to achieve program strategies, goals, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Create and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, including Air Force and Navy organizations, to drive public-private partnerships and achieve program objectives.
  • Sustainment Operations Management: Lead and execute sustainment operations, both domestically and internationally, to ensure on-time and on-cost deliveries of products and services.
  • Process Improvement: Assess, evaluate, and facilitate process improvement efforts to maximize partnership outcomes and achieve 'best in business' sustainment operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise site leads at various Air Force and Navy locations and provide strategic guidance to facilitate new business growth and business retention.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with customers, programs, functions, and suppliers to ensure fulfillment of needs, achievement of customer satisfaction, and growth in the line of business.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with technical experience.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in sustainment, program management, engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading large, complex programs or initiatives.
  • Skills: Demonstrated expertise in sustainment engineering, process improvement, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities. Strong knowledge of Air Force and Navy sustainment organizations, including Air Force Air Logistics Complexes (ALC) and Navy Fleet Readiness Centers (FRC).
