The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin seeks a highly qualified Assistant Professor in Solid Earth Geophysics. The successful candidate will conduct innovative research and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

As a member of the Jackson School of Geosciences, the candidate will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and collaborate with renowned researchers. The research program should advance our understanding of the dynamics and evolution of the solid Earth, complementing existing strengths within JSG.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and a strong publication record. They will also be committed to mentoring and teaching, with a focus on undergraduate and graduate education.
