Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care, including implementing practitioners' orders, administering medications, and operating medical equipment.
- Lift and transfer residents as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Initiate emergency treatment as necessary, responding promptly to changes in residents' conditions.
- Monitor and supervise the work of unlicensed staff, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Update the RN with current observations and complete documentation of resident health status, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Current FL LPN licensure by start date.
- AHA (American Heart Association) BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers certification.
- Previous healthcare experience, preferably in a senior care setting.
- Comfortable using computers, handheld devices, and other technology to support care delivery and documentation.
