Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our electrical maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of our power generation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain complex electrical systems, including high voltage switchgear and equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure continuity of electrical service.
  • Inspect and test electrical equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve electrical system issues and ensure safe operation.
  • Develop and implement procedures for electrical system maintenance and repair.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
  • IBEW local 57 examination certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with high voltage electrical systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
