Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in Elmhurst, New York.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week contract position, working 40 hours per week, with a 7-hour shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in computed tomography and a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement procedures to maintain equipment and ensure optimal imaging quality
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
  • At least 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
  • Strong knowledge of computed tomography principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
