Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City, Colorado. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting optimal health and well-being.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing a continuum of services to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically related disorders. You will utilize your expertise to promote and restore optimal health and well-being through rehabilitation and mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy, and neuromuscular reeducation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient information and track progress
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current Colorado state licensure in occupational therapy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
