Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Canon Lodge Care Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients to improve their functional abilities and independence.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for daily living activities.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a post-acute care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
