Culinary Team Member

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team at Vail Resorts. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will assist the Chef in preparing high-quality dishes for our guests while promoting teamwork among staff and maintaining food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
- Culinary degree or certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience, with supervisory kitchen experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, practices, and food safety, including ServSafe certifications.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods, as well as lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
- Competitive salary range: $22.00 - $26.03 per hour.
