Job Summary

Cook Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled Security Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our security services team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting electronic and physical security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service electronic and physical security products, including alarm systems, access control systems, and video surveillance systems.
  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues with security systems.
  • Conduct site surveys to identify security needs and recommend solutions.
  • Test and commission security systems to ensure proper performance and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Communicate with customers and management to provide project status updates and resolve issues.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and control assigned truck stock inventory and report stock items during company inventory audits.
  • Ensure company vehicles are maintained according to established standards and operate company vehicles using safe driving practices.
  • Responsible for training less experienced employees and trainees on company procedures, systems, and installation/service techniques.
  • Ensure all work is performed to CSG quality standards and practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years of electronic and physical security service and installation experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Low Voltage electrical license preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of security equipment and systems, including alarm systems, access control systems, and video surveillance systems.
  • Knowledge of Bosch, DMP, March DVR, 3VR, and/or Lenel Access control product lines preferred.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to a week if necessary.
