Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with our patients, their families, and our healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
