About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at Millwood Hospital. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and providing exceptional care to individuals ranging from preschool to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous patient care, supervision, and interaction under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Assist with restraining procedures after successful completion of Management Aggressive Behavior Training (CPI)
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association for CPR
  • Work rotating weekends and 12-hour shifts on the PICU unit
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
  • Two years of related experience with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness
  • Successful completion of CPI training and CPR certification
