En este puesto, serás responsable de:

  • Adherirse a todas las políticas y procedimientos de New York Cancer and Blood Specialists.
  • Actualizar y mantener todos los registros electrónicos de pacientes y ayudar en la transición de registros en papel a formato digital.
  • Registrar información del paciente, como signos vitales, peso y cambios en la historia médica antes de cada cita.
  • Limpiar y preparar las salas de examen antes de las citas de los pacientes.
  • Atender tareas en la oficina, como responder llamadas telefónicas y recibir a los pacientes al ingresar a la instalación.
  • Colaborar en el mantenimiento del inventario médico y realizar pedidos de nuevos materiales según sea necesario.
  • Medir y registrar signos vitales.
  • Registrar la entrevista con el paciente, la historia y la queja principal.
  • Proporcionar educación al paciente sobre medicamentos, manejo de enfermedades, tratamientos en el hogar y dietas especiales.
  • Preparar a los pacientes para exámenes y realizar pruebas de detección rutinarias.
  • Asistir al médico durante los exámenes.
  • Realizar flebotomía y recolección de otras muestras de laboratorio.
  • Realizar pruebas de laboratorio básicas.
  • Realizar electrocardiogramas (EKGs).
  • Administrar y documentar medicamentos bajo la orden de un médico, siguiendo los cinco derechos de medicación y reduciendo el potencial de error médico.

Requisitos:

  • Licencia de LPN del estado de Nueva York vigente.
  • Certificación de Soporte Vital Básico (BLS) requerida.
  • Experiencia previa en un rol de liderazgo o demostración de potencial para actuar en una capacidad de liderazgo.
  • Conducta profesional consistente y atención meticulosa a los detalles.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita, así como habilidades interpersonales con pacientes, personal y otros profesionales de la salud.
  • Dominio de OncoEMR.
  • Disponibilidad para viajar a las diferentes ubicaciones de NYCBS.

Horario: Lunes a Viernes.

Salario de hasta $28 por hora.
