Job Summary

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership to client groups, including managing the processes of quarterly forecasts and annual operating plans. You will also develop methodologies and processes that provide transparency of costs and cost drivers to recipient businesses, and analyze current financial results to identify and address evolving business issues and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial leadership to client groups, including managing the processes of quarterly forecasts and annual operating plans.
  • Develop methodologies and processes that provide transparency of costs and cost drivers to recipient businesses.
  • Analyze current financial results to identify and address evolving business issues and opportunities.
  • Partner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of ongoing efforts to grow the organization.
  • Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiences.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 4 years' experience in financial analysis.
  • At least 4 years' experience with financial modeling.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree in Finance.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • 6+ years' experience in financial analysis.
  • 6+ years' experience with financial modeling.
  • 3+ years' experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.
  • 1+ years of people management experience.
