The technician is responsible for performing calculations and typically engages in semi-routine assignments.
The Specialty Pharmacy Operations Technician may reach out to healthcare providers for prescription clarifications and is tasked with entering prescription orders into the system. This role also supports both Pharmacists and Patients by ensuring compliance with Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs designed to enhance health outcomes, which includes effective communication with patients and healthcare providers. Decisions are generally centered around interpreting departmental policies and methods for completing tasks. The technician operates within established guidelines to define work expectations and quality standards, while having some flexibility in prioritization and timing, working under minimal supervision. Standard policies and practices are followed, allowing for some interpretation, deviation, and independent judgment.

Compensation Range: The salary range provided below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. $37,200 - $51,200 per year.
